Speaking of actual PTSD I worked with an engineer way back in 2006 in Chicago and his brother was in the army corp of engineers deployed in Iraq. He was in an MRAP and an IED went off about on the roadside about 20 feet away.

Needless to say his MRAP got fukked up pretty bad but nobody died luckily.

Now his brother apparently got fukked up pretty badly because he was never the same person again after the incident.

Concussion injury to his brain from a such a big explosion permanently damaged him in a horrible way so much so that he committed suicide a few years later.

If you survive an IED or shelling explosions doesn’t mean you’re ok for the remainder of your life.
