Stragetic affairs discussions relating to the central and north Asian countries such as the Turkic states Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, as well as the Iranic states of Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and so on. Also included in North Asia are the many Russian divisions in the far east of the country.
