Yes avocado oil is very healthy but expensive, good quality organic canola or even regular canola oil is the best compromise.

Bengalis on both sides of the border are equally nuts about mustard oil and mustard paste. Kasundi (mustard paste) is a staple in Bengali cuisine ingredients.

They do this mustard thing in Punjab, name skips me.. pretty hot, kinda like hot english mustard that makes you tear up and kick you in the back of the head.. its a coarse paste with seeds, not a full paste.
