Even if the news of J10CE induction in IRIAF is true, it still would take them years to effects utilise them effectively.

Iranian military woud have to first integration itself with the Beidou SatNav system.

Their pilots have no experience with modern planes and modern aerial warfare.

They will have to induct a whole gamut of Chinese weaponry ecosystem to fully realise the J10CEs potential. Induction of AWACS, data transfer TDLs, integration of entire warmachine into a net centric web.

In short, it would take them years before they alter the aerial mismatch, even a few degrees in their favor.

But still many degrees better off than where they are now.

Naked and defenceless under their own skies.

For a country that is so good in drones and decoys and rockets and missiles, they should at the very least have a good multi layered air defence.

Turkey and Pakistan are the Muslim countries that have the manufacturing knowhow and could help.

But will not.

Western countries (Germany, Sweden, France, Poland) will not.

India will not.

Russia has not. Can. But has not.

That only leaves China.

And Iran holds China's balls in its hands ....

Doc, from my limited reads into the Iranian MIC, they are way ahead of both Pakistan and Turkiye in Air Defence and Missiles. Their IADS failure is attributed to subversion and sabotage. Their own people have been more than willing to hurt Iran.

Turkey and Pakistan are the Muslim countries that have the manufacturing knowhow and could help.

Pakistan and Turkiye can help Iran in aerial warfare, EW, joint ops etc but tell me this, since decades Iran has been a hostile force against them both, why would they help Iran substantially? The limited help would come just so Tehran doesn't fall and we dont get a Zionist stooge on our borders. Pure strategic necessity. Nothing more.

I personally believe looking at china weaponry performance over the years that Iran is better off not getting anything from China at all.
