It's not just the obviously jaahil kinds. A friend went to Cambodia last month. Did some guided tour, with a group of elderly Indians from Delhi. All well to do. The guide was young and inexperienced. They trolled her so much she started crying.

That is partly because he loses so much. Losers become commies. They like to reconcile with their loss by identifying with the poor and downtrodden and making villains out of successful people. It is their moral high ground.
I don't have a problem with RG taking up the cause of dalits and poor. It is his (and others') constant vilification of upper castes and businessmen that is not acceptable. No divide and rule please.
I am not so concerned about states pushing back against Delhi's antics. There is a lot of pent up frustration among southern and western states. It's good that they are getting opportunities to let off steam. Things will stabilise in a decade or so.
The real threat is from insidious dalit...
Modi has a dislike for people who can only think. He likes people who can act. That is Gujju DNA. They don't have much patience for intellectual fluff, even if it is of high quality. They have more respect for people with average intelligence who can get the job done.
