Seeing some of the latest work by Bangladeshi architects (for both rural and urban structures), I am pretty sure that it is firmly in first tier territory in South Asia if not, all of Asia (maybe except China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Indonesia). Especially Thailand, which in my mind is very advanced in quality of architecture in terms of "Zen". See for yourself. For me these carry significance, as some of these urban ones are near where my ancestral home was. The village one (Sufi Bari) carries footage of the monsoon downpours, which is evocative for many Bengalis who grew up in Bangladesh.

CGI renders of some newer mid-rises in Dhaka under construction - this thread will be updated with newer Dhaka mid-rises as time permits. Due to soil load-bearing and base-rock depth issues, buildings taller than 40 stories become challenging to build in Dhaka so most newer buildings will not exceed 45 stories.

Next Spaces Limited launched its latest project "NH Tower" in Tejgaon, Dhaka on January 1, 2024. The new development is set to encompass 32 floors along with 5 basements. Construction is ongoing but no idea if it has gone past basement level.
