General How to make hernia tolerable lifelong WITHOUT surgery?

What can be done to make hernia tolerable lifelong WITHOUT surgery? I don't think I can afford the treatment. Hence looking to just make it tolerable for life.

If you have a hernia, try to keep it from getting worse: Avoid heavy lifting when you can. Lifting puts stress on the groin. When you must lift, don't bend over.
