Short Summary: Iranian tourists were heckled by Hindutva when they mistakenly offered Namaz in a shrine near east gate of Taj Mahal
The BJP funnily has been the best friend the Muslims of India could ever hope for.

Today they have many many non Muslim Indians standing on their side in terms of actually feeling what they feel.

Even if not one of these minorities will ever choose to live in a Muslim dominant society or country.

But muslamanon ki to chaandi hui hai pichle dus saalon mein.

They did not have to fkn lift a finger.

All the heavy lifting was done by BJP and sangh and Hindus themselves.
Doc, what I am seeing is that non Muslim minorities have become two faced (for lack of a better word). I don't include Parsis in this, mainly Christians, and to some extent Sikhs and even Buddhist Dalits. They take anti Muslim stand when they are at the receiving end (daughter eloping with a Muslim), Muslim claiming their land, but stand with them when Hindus are the adversarial party

I think sardars are a serious concern.

Unka dil utth gaya hai. Of course it started with Delhi but the state of their state and youth has totally mindfukd them.

Christians, well. What can I say. Abrahamic religions and old faiths simply cannot coexist. With mutual respect.

Dalits who's fault is it bhai? All of us btw are bearing that cross in the form of absurd reservation we faced, and our kids are facing today.

That's why only the main reason ab ek great invisible coalescence ho rahi hai

even the people coming together don't know that they are

very metaphysical lafda, but brozullahs.. its happening

eventually hum bhi ek Chinese type log ban jayenge, high iq but bot programming, fully compliant.

I have a feeling none of us will be around by the time the takeover is complete, but hona yehi hai.. this mofugger is all set to fall of a cliff, good luck to all the materialistic people dreaming of a "future for our kids"

💀

You are foreseeing what I foresaw in 2016.

A Hindu Pakistan.

I haven't been able to come to grips with the issue with Sikhs, really. The farm protests did put them in an antagonistic position wrt BJP, but the rot in Punjab is not the creation of BJP. It is a combination of many factors. It is mainly the Jutt Sikh kids who are disenchanted. Padhai likhai ki nahi. Only enjoyed the dividend from green revolution. That has run out now. Unlike Khatri Sikhs, they have no talents except singing and running transport business. They are total misfits in the new economy. I don't see them in white collar jobs. They easily fall into the orbit of their Khalistani cousins in Canada and UK

fair critique, but when it cpmes to biriyanis, the Lucknowi school wins on being mild, light and fragrant, not high on spices at all.

Hyderabad is another story.. the other 2 "Schools" of biriyani don't even bear mention, Malabari and Tamild to alg hi cheez hai, rice bhi unko alag phat red one,,, deelish as they are. Kerala shrimp and meat waali try karo kisi din.. haanth chaat-tey reh jaoge bc.. zabardast

but original biriyani is UP, mostly white rice with some saffron wala grains... very nice.

Bro you need to try our Uzbek Pilaf one day. It'll be a culinary experience for you. Our cuisine is a bit subtle. I am not sure if there are any authentic Uzbek food places in India.

Another thing I have noticed. There's a very huge ane renewed movement here in Pakistani Punjab too, renewed relationships with Sikhs on shared Punjabi bonds, Punjabi language and culture. Never used to see any kinda Punjabi ethnic Nationalism in Pak until now. Maybe it's another game by our Establishment.

I actually have a sardar friend (Bullet boy ... ) in Poona who once told me smirking conspirationally that hamare liye to accha hi hai. Agar yahan (Hinduon ke saath) nahin to wahan (Musalmano ke saath).

They do not like Modi and BJP and the Sangh sure.

But I think their disillusionment is more with Hindus increasingly, especially in the toxic Hindutva environment of the past decade. That as I said has both rubbed salt into their domestic wounds (state, drugs in youth, mass conversions to Christianity), especially against zero industry in the state (largely their own doing), falling agricultural revenue, rich land owning class as you rightly said moving into Khalistani orbits in the west, and large out of state migrations into the state as labour.

Of course they have their historical baggage of Operation Bluestar and Delhi riots. The rift with the Hindus and the resentment at not having their own laws like other minorities, but lumped under Hindu act. And the recent Farmer agitation was more a bursting forth of a lot of this, against the backdrop of the crony capitalism of Adani and Ambani ball cuddling of Modi in the guise of the Farm Laws.

I've seen Punjabis from across the fence meet and greet, same hi hai, this mazhab thing minimize bhi ho jaata hai in shared spaces like a celebration/wedding etc

but Pak has always been dominated by the Punjabis, the fauj, the polity, whole thing...

chalda rehta intergroup this that, its ok only

Haan the concept of gosht dum pulao as a one dish is a central asian thing, not really an Iranian thing. Irani's always cook meat and rice separate, not like us or Uzbeki or Afghani.

And the word biryan means fried gosht bhai. Its actually a kabab type patty of various Lamb cuts in particular the lungs ground up with the shoulder and fried up in saffron and slivered almonds. No rice bhai.

Hur cheez ka naam chori kar liya hae iraandion say aur apnay matlab key bana lee hain, with nothing in common with the original......lol

This is the real biryani, a dish from Isfahaandd bhai:

haan, obviously, hamari current day ones we call biriyani are all inspired by that, but local adaptations, mutations hoti gai

lucnkowi and hyderabadi 2 main schools

Pesiands ka feeka feeka hota hai for our desi savage palette :P

simple chicken curry kitni different hoti hai various regions ki in India.

I like Dilli Punjabi style dhania curry and makkhan me chicken, ghar wala.. mast scene, bro, with roti..

🤤
True, Irani food is very different to ours. They are big meat eaters though and pretty lavish on the presentation.

Some of their dishes are just out of this world good:

I was watching a roundup of the Irani cafes in Bombay and their prices have shot thru da roof bhai. Plate of barberry polao is like Rs1500 to Rs2000 at Brittanica and Kiyani's outlets. So much inflation. Qeema platter is Rs1200.....lol
