Yes, I was a Modi fan but no more now. He is a cheater. He came to power on the name of Hindus but did nothing for Hindus. He thought that he is coming to power because of his popularity. May be to some extent. However, what yogi has acted on CM post is far tougher than what Modi had acted as P.M. I hope a proportionately stronger response from Yogi as C.M.
I don't think these Uyghurs will win at home against the Chinese State Security apparatus which are far more well equipped and are ten years ahead of any country as far as surveillance technology.
Their best solution for some degree of autonomy is negotiating with the CCP and becoming a part of larger mainland Chinese society.
