Udhar normal basmati or even red rice type hota hai ki that sticky one they use on Sushi/Sashimi ?

Down south in India they use mostly a very different rice variety to basmati, mota rice.. is nice, but woh har grain alag alag waali rice ki baat nahi hai usme

Japanese rice the koshihikari type is unique to Japan. Short grain. Yes its sticky, not not like Chinese glutinous sticky variety.
