We will take the losses if it means we dont have little brown runts running amok on our land.
I'm a doctor. A senior one. Loads of senior colleagues.
We look at Bangladeshi patients as our charity CSR.
Stats glitching there I think. It is very hard if not damn near impossible to quantify those sorts of things but I will speak anecdotally here, as I generally do.. my observations of the various groups in India. You give Bangladeshis free medical care? Very nice of you. They won't be back looks like.
Since this is the whatever thread and you are a doctor looking at facts and figures - here are some stunting figures.
"India has a child stunting rate of approximately 35.5%, while Bangladesh has a lower rate of around 25%. Both countries face significant challenges with child malnutrition, but Bangladesh has made more progress in reducing stunting rates compared to India."
India ranks far worse than Bangladesh in the GHI (Global Hunger Index) as well.
India
With a score of 27.3 in the 2024 Global Hunger Index, India has a level of hunger that is serious.www.globalhungerindex.org

North east 7 sisters folk are a bit, and I'm not sure if stunted is the right word, shorter statured. The proper oriental looking folk are famously that way.. genetics.
South Indians are of a darker complexion most times...
Bihari tribal folk are also shorties, but in their case it is probably malnutrition.
Bengali, across the borders are on average shorter than North Indians, Punjab, Haryana etc
Theek hai, Sachin Tendulkar is 5.2 or something... it's all good.

You got that right bud. My Bangladeshi parents could not get a visa, since their birthplace was listed as Pakistan. They were in their late, late years when this happened.
Jihadi 80 year old terrorists in walkers, I guess.

Think I remember you mentioning this at the other place, shame about it.
You former fauj too, right ?
Why India when Pakistan's mountainous terrains and landscapes are so much better and with much friendlier people?
Because I have done a lot of the Pakistani northern areas already, much of it on two wheels, although, this was all some time ago. Maybe revisiting might be considered, but that whole area is currently a powder keg just waiting for the wrong spark, and hence not safe at all, no matter what is claimed.
Dunno if you follow these, but here's an interesting one I been randomly posting around here.Because I have done a lot of the Pakistani northern areas already, much of it on two wheels, although, this was all some time ago.
