Lebanon is an interesting place, 3 main factions, the dominant Shia, the somewhat 'oppressed' Sunnis, and the Xtians (70% mulls, almost 30% xties, and a sprinkling of other minorities)

My friend went some years ago, Sunnis are kinda poor, Xties are rich, Shia are a mix monies wise), apparently some neighborhoods still bear the marks of the civil war, apartment buildings still carry bullet marks, and there's still urban firefights.. whole thing is a bit nuts.

Also some of the prettiest women in the world, which is true for Iran too. My doner is ready to meet a nice Lebanese girl.

and food, man.. I love middil eastern food, lotsa grilled meat, salad, no much mirchi and oil/lard like we desis do it.

Ijraeli food is lagbhag sem-2-sem with many shared stuff.. falafel, humus, shakshuka, doner kebap, shawarma.. is good stuff.

Haan Lebanese are very semitic looking. I’ve seen many that look like Henry Kissinger or Golda Meir or Einsteind ka ulla.

"all" is prolly a bit of an exaggeration, but she basically meant there were a LOT of pretty women strutting around in the latest fashion wear of the day.
