Ya the daal. Totally daalkhor making. The only other place I've had daal like that was a roadside dhabha on a cold winter night in Punjab. Riding back grom Dharamshala. I did not know that more have mushroomed up. Im talking about the 1970s original at the ITC.

If course I'm not north Indian. So for us all north Indian daal and butter chicken tastes deliciously different to the usual commercial stuff in Maharashtra.

Over in Bombay that famous Brittania jacked up their prices to double bhai cuz its supa famous now. $25/ $30 USD is normal per person now.
