hmm, I clearly did something wrong then.. galat technique.. but I tried the frozen as well as defrosted method.. maybe dialed in the wrong setting on the heat or something.
mere cousins etc ke gharon pe I've had, they come out proper.
anyway, fried hi sahi hai.. McDonalds waali.
KFC ones originally, I think in India too, used to use beef tallow to fry em, different si but god damnit, zabardast taste waali fries... then there was an uproar about it.. their first innings here, mid 90s iinw, when they got kicked out for excessive "MSG" in their food.. uss time pe, for a very very short time.. it was the most amazing food ever..
they had coleslaw, 2 types of chicken.. spice blend waala daneedar crispy, as well as the plain one, just crispy, no spice.. and they had mashed potatos as well, topped with a creamy mushroom or whatever sauce... ufff.
xhit's been downward since..
ill still treat myself to the odd chicken wings and leg/breast here.. but no coleslaw, no mash..
bhonsdi waale got this DISGUSTING "biriyani" now.. which used to be decent till about a couple years ago, was genuinely good rice with some thick gravy at the bottom.. woh bhi pankelunz changed to some crappy rice now.

I don't eat out much anymore.
I'm a burger guy myself. Local wala Burger King. Not the commercial crap.
Or a nice Kolhapuri mutton thali is my scene.

Dhaka: After the Muhammad Yunus led government came into power in Bangladesh, the situation of minorities has deteriorated and in the recent case, it has been reported that the anti-India government of Bangladesh under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus is targeting famous Hindu temples of Bangladesh. As per media reports, Pakistan's ISI is gaining a free hand to expand its operations and in the recent plan, the targets are the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites in Bangladesh.

Which Hindu temples are ISI attacking in Bangladesh?
As per the local report, Hindu temples in Bangladesh are being continuously targeted in recent times. In a matter of concern for the Hindus of Bangladesh, extremist organizations linked to Pakistan and terrorist groups are attempting attacks and occupations of temples.
The recent report mentions that Hindu temples, specifically the Medhas Muni Ashram in Chittagong, the Golden Temple in Bandarban district and the Adinath Temple in Maheshkhali in Cox's Bazar.
Why India should be worried about Bangladesh?
All these ancient religious sites are connected not only to Hindus but also to the faith of the entire South Asia. The purpose of attacks on temples is to intimidate Hindus and insult their religious traditions, which is increasing tension in society. Thus, it can be said that Bangladesh is becoming a launchpad for radical Islamic and terrorist forces under the role of Yunus government in Bangladesh and this is the reason why India should be worried.
This is such unfounded bakwaas.
The only reason the situation of SOME Hindu minorities has deteriorated (a few) after Hasina's ouster is that they are diehard Awami League supporters, and even in that case, they have been targeted by opportunists who were tortured by AL. Not by the govt.
Bangladesh is not like India, Hindus are still Bangladeshi citizens.
This is not a religious issue, it is a political issue. Meanwhile Indian BJP govt. keep playing the 'Hindu card', Bangladeshis will continue to give zero $hits about any such guilt trip propaganda in India.
India and Indians should mostly stop patronizing enemies of Bangladesh like Hasina and AL if they want better relations with Bangladesh.

And how is Bangladesh hurting you?? Dalit Indians working all over Bangladesh (even some CEOs) - it is 3rd or 4th largest remittance source for India, depending on the year. Remittance outflowing to India probably in the tens of Billions of US$ by now. It was around $3.5 Billion in 2015.
