I have many tamil Brahmin friends. I have not seen even a single case of Cousin marriages.

The more important thing is that no matter who you are, if you follow close marriages, it will have ill effect on mental and physical being. I think people consider Tamil Brahmins more intelligent because of education. I do not know whether they are more intelligent than other Brahmins.
