Iran supplied Russia with 8,000 S-136's plus transferred two manufacturing plants to Kazan region to make these drones inhouse over there. And then provided hundreds of Fath-360 missiles and quite possibly thousands of older Fateh-110's from its stocks.

I don't know what the problem is between Iran and Russia........however Iran must be watching the war in Ukraine.......and quite possibly very quietly cancelled all contracts with the Russians after seeing the dismal performance of their weaponry no?

A ship came under attack in the Red Sea off the southwest coast of Yemen on Sunday from gunfire and self-propelled grenades launched from eight small boats, a British maritime agency and security firm said.

Armed security on the ship returned fire and the situation is ongoing, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) and British maritime security firm Ambrey said in advisories.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.

It’s the first such report in the area by the agencies since mid-April. Tensions in the Middle East remain high over the war in Gaza and the after the 12-day Israel-Iran war and airstrikes by the United States on Iranian nuclear sites in June.

Sunday’s attack occurred 51 nautical miles southwest of Yemen’s port city of Hodeidah, the UKMTO and Ambrey said. They did not name the ship.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis launched more than 100 attacks targeting shipping from Nov 2023, saying they were acting in solidarity with Palestinians over Israel’s war with Hamas.

During that period, the group sank two ships, seized another and killed at least four seafarers in an offensive that disrupted global shipping, forcing firms to reroute, prompting the US to intensify attacks on the group this year.

In May, President Donald Trump announced the US would stop bombing the Houthis in Yemen, saying that the group had agreed to stop interrupting important shipping lanes in the Middle East.

Under the agreement, neither the US, nor the Houthis would target the other, including US ships in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait, Oman said in a statement at the time.

Later in June, Yemen’s Houthis threatened to target US ships in the Red Sea if Washington became involved in Israeli attacks on Iran. They have not specified whether they will follow through on their threat after the US attacked Iranian nuclear facilities last month.​

Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday made his first public appearance since the outbreak of his country's recent 12-day war with Israel, taking part in a religious ceremony in Tehran, state media reported.

The octogenarian leader was shown in a video broadcast by state television greeting people and being cheered at a mosque as worshippers marked the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, an important date for Shia Muslims.

Khamenei, 86, can be seen on stage dressed in black as the crowd before him, fists in the air, chants "The blood in our veins for our leader!"

State TV said the clip was filmed at central Tehran's Imam Khomeini Mosque, named for the founder of the Islamic republic.

Khamenei, in power since 1989, spoke last week in a pre-recorded video, but had not been seen in public since before Israel initiated the conflict with a wave of surprise air strikes on 13 June.

His last public appearance was two days before that, when he met with members of parliament.

Israel's bombing campaign followed a decades-long shadow war with Iran, and was aimed at preventing it from developing a nuclear weapon -- an ambition Tehran has consistently denied.

The strikes killed more than 900 people in Iran, its judiciary has said, while retaliatory Iranian missile barrages aimed at Israeli cities killed at least 28 people there, according to official figures.​

As the tide turned, the emotions of the two sides started diverging. Sanghis went into a deep sulk and pure denial, parroting the Jewish lines, but you could distinctly make out their ardour had cooled and they were realising that their phul sapport demi gods were being pummelled from the skies in spite of the so called infallible iron dome. Major reality check.

Pakistanis on the other hand went into frank crabs in a pail envy. Dismayed that a Muslim nation actually had balls and a spine and was hitting back. A non nuclear Muslim nation. And well into the 12th day. Whereas they had folded in just under 4. To a Hindu nation. While the Muslim nation was hitting back at two nuclear powers. Jew and Christian. One a superpower.

There is massive oceans of pure envy in Pakistan and at JC.

What they don't realize is that Iran is their daddy.
