Air India has already started polar route via China and Siberia to North America via technical stop at Kolkata. And I believe overflying China to Europe via Moscow is soon to start as well. Same with other South and SE Asian airlines in the region.

hard to tell from the grainy footage, there's all sorts of theories doing the rounds.

They found the black box, next is potentially months of investigations.
