Oh no. India is very interested in selling Tejas to Iran. Indians say even the US wants to buy Tejas. This is a major news from a few years ago. The current issue is. Is Iran willing to trade oil for TEJAS?

NATO won't sell. Russia is in war. India is not yet producing in big numbers. The only Choice that remains China.

By seeing the design of this plane, I can say that it will have long combat radius. It is designed to to fly long distance because of high fuel efficiency, because of design.

Its optimized as a 500 knot cruise speed loyal wingman on AI.

Irans on the right track here Krishna.......always thinks out of the box and makes do with little investments with very smart people at the helm and end up with big results!

World class BM/ drone programs already in the top 3 on this planet.

They NEED a proper air force, manned ka zamana khatam nahi hua hai, not just yet. So I'd say ki drone program jaari rakhein, by all means, but also fill the capability gaps.

They should get the SU35 or J10c or anything else they can asap to plug the capability gaps for now.

I totally disagree!

Irans not just any other but a pioneer in warfare.

Iran should never accept any technology from anyone, but develop its own using its own scientific institutions and the huge numbers of doctorate graduate students coming into the market every year.

We've already put up the global IQ rankings here and seen who stands where in 'aqal' and the numbers of graduates in STEM majors.

In educated circles in Iran.......aap key shadi bhee nahi hoti ab unless you have a phd and a good job.

Iran must rely on itself.
 
Even if the news of J10CE induction in IRIAF is true, it still would take them years to effects utilise them effectively.

Iranian military woud have to first integration itself with the Beidou SatNav system.

Their pilots have no experience with modern planes and modern aerial warfare.

They will have to induct a whole gamut of Chinese weaponry ecosystem to fully realise the J10CEs potential. Induction of AWACS, data transfer TDLs, integration of entire warmachine into a net centric web.

In short, it would take them years before they alter the aerial mismatch, even a few degrees in their favor.
