Caribbean "golden passports" are getting more expensive, a response to pressure from the US and the EU to crack down on citizenship sales. Four island nations agreed to charge at least $200,000 starting June 30, double the current rate in some cases.
Big price increases, but there is still time to act
4 out of 5 Caribbean countries that sell their citizenship have just announced that they will adhere to a minimum floor of $200,000 for citizenship for the main applicant.

This is a substantial increase for some of these countries.

 • Dominica will increase from $100,000 to $200,000
 • Antigua & Barbuda will increase from $100,000 to $200,000
 • Grenada will increase from $150,000 to at least $200,000
 • Saint Kitts & Nevis is already at $250,000 so this won't change
 • Saint Lucia did not sign and might stay at $100,000
Why are they doing this?
Due to pressure from the EU and the US.

And what about Saint Lucia which is not complying for now? Its Schengen access may be at risk. We discuss this and more with Laszlo.

I know a family from Lahore that went to St Kitts a few years ago as a stop gap to eventually make their way to the US or Canada, in da hopes that their migration on a St Kitts passport would be favorable as opposed to our dreaded passport. They each paid $100k per family member back in da day for the visa's/ processing.....sold everything of value in Lahore/ Jhang shorkot and took their chances....They went to St Kitts aur jnabb utthay saaray Island day kaalay everywhere......lol.......Saaray suar khanday ne day in n day out...... :p .....sharaban n total kaala action jungle scene.....:p.......Very tough life over there for somebody from our conservative backgrounds being thrown among kaalay log and no jobs no nothing, only nice beaches. The guy told me it was a nightmare......I hope the family made it to Canada or da US. I should find out what happened but I don't want to out of courtesy. Hopefully he'll tell me himself someday on what happened. I just hope they made it.

You right very informative posts, but when you mix them up with the other language you speak, it really is impossible to follow the main spirit. Pls for sake of getting your opinions read (and for us to learn) don’t mix up your perfectly good English with whatever you are mixing them with. We already have a much smaller following since this new site launched, lets at least keep the following that exists

Guys I say things in Punjabi cuz I don’t want others to know certain things about our conservative culture. I’m sure someone from a different culture might take offense to our certain conservative musings and banter. 😝 all I said was that there were all very liberal people in St Kitts and it was a very different culture to our conservative country. There was pork everywhere and people openly having sex in da jungle and very liberal and our people just get scared when they see such a beach and island country with everyone in bikinis coming out of a very conservative society like Pakistan.
