Armenians, we used to have a community in Kalkatta, there was a thread about em here, or maybe at the old place.. now sadly, numbering only in their hundreds, or the lower thousands.. something like that.

Internationally, we have a beef with Paxtanis over Kashmir, and China.. land disputes, both. Rest of the world isn't our concern... Gaza-Israel, Russia - Ukraine etc ..

Why wade into other peoples' matters ? .. We don't talk about Taiwan either, and China reciprocate and stay mum on Kashmir..

I wouldn't call it friend but a mutual interest.
Erdogan has been openly anti-Israel which is probably what prompted Israeli historians to write books such as The Thirty Year Genocide
