Memorandum of Understanding worth 21 thousand crore taka will be signed with China regarding 200 Chinese made coaches (one thousand crore Taka) and other modernization projects at the Chief Adviser's China visit this week. Projects include,

1. Joydebpur to Jamalpur dual gauge conversion,
2. Passenger Carriage and Locomotive workshop upgradation and conversion at Dhaka Parbatipur and Pahartali facilities etc.
