Russia and China are pretty powerful. Having a North Korean state that could reach the west with nukes and Iran with its oil makes for a pretty formidable group.

When it comes to nations, and international interactions in the relentless pursuit of national interests, I believe only geopolitical principles apply to all, equally, nothing more, and nothing less.

True, Trump's not even if office proper yet. As you said the other day, a LOT can happen in 4 years time, and I strongly suspect it will.

He'd been saying it on the trail for months, about how conflict resolution and putting an end to the wars will be high on his priority list. House, senate iski hain.. he's back, more powerful than ever before.

I'm cautiously optimistic about him doing the right thing, time will tell.
