Iranian using Gatling Gun on the new missile boats to act as "distributed" CIWS with lower firing rate.

This doesn't really look like a CIWS, more like a RCWS.

is there any video of it in action?

Presumably It could function like the Sea Zenith onboard Turkish MEKOs but what radar is it tied to?

As far as I know these guns are controlled by EO system ..if they have a radar interface no one is talking about it..

I find it extremely unlikely that it can function as an CIWS then.

If EO cameras could detect and track incoming missiles with reaction times fast enough for this. Other navies would have figured it out by now.

Maybe two separate radars is a bit of an overkill on Gökdeniz but it goes to show you that it takes a lot more to be effective.
