Bangladesh may have already completed formalities to induct JF-17 Block lll, please correct me if needed. According to most media sources in both countries, BAF first batch of trainee pilots are already in Pakistan to get trained on the platform.

The training will take place at Mushaf Air Base and the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra, focusing on modern air warfare tactics and operational logic.

The decision reflects Bangladesh's evolving security needs in the Bay of Bengal and along its borders, particularly in response to increased airspace violations and cross-border activities. This partnership is expected to strengthen Bangladesh's air combat capabilities while providing Pakistan with strategic influence over the next generation of Bangladeshi military aviators."

It is quite logical to assume that Bangladesh will also deploy PL-15s with its JF-17s to counter enemy aviation platforms attacking Bangladeshi installations and infra from the sea, though unclear through which variant of the BVR missile, and if those which have been deployed in Pakistan recently.
