Short Summary: First in world, 2 robot surgery in India.
I even doubt it. The india's surgical robot is from China's edge Medical... OEM.

A movie became very popular in China. In that movie, the boy used to face a sever crisis of medicines. He started importing it from India. When Government stopped that as well, he started manufacturing medicines at home.

This is a movie story, but it tells the story of medical sector of China. We saw the real face of China in medical sector. Costly substandard medicines, semi-skilled doctors, poor quality drugs (Example Chinese Corona Vaccine) etc. Like the @Jiangnan, many Chinese believe in Chinese rosy picture as it is fed by CPC propaganda machinery and CPC controled media.

Calm down. I just expressed my doubts. After all, you know... India cannot even make ventilators... India can only buy from China.

and The oxygen crisis in Indian hospitals has shocked the world.

This is the level of social development in India.... Poor and inferior society.

Oh. I'm not jealous of India, I'm just looking down on India. Very pure. It has nothing to do with anyone's publicity.

Um. Unable to manufacture ventilators and oxygen cylinders. But it can 'make' surgical robots...

Respect Indian propaganda. I hope Modi will not send the Shiva army to assassinate me. 🙏

I knew this, anything remotely they can find to boast (even fake), they will boast. These are Modi's propaganda people.

There are plenty of other things for India to boast about, but robotics is not one of them AFAIK.

If India is such an advanced economy - then why are Indians leaving India in droves and immigrating illegally to USA? And facing the humiliation of being deported and coming back in shackles?

Medical science is marching ahead in India. Allopathy and Ayurved are in fierce competition. Many diseases considered to be incurable are treated and cured successfully in Ayurveda. No wonder life expectancy is rising 4 years every decade.

Are you for real?

Among all South Asian countries, India's life expectancy is one of the lowest.

In fact it is way lower than Bangladesh.

@Guru Dutt

Whoever gave you information - is smoking a fat one. Just BS.

The cumulative revenue of Chinese pharma sector (all told) is around $200 Billion.

Compared to that, the total value of the Pharma sector in India is poor by comparison,

only about $66 Billion or so.

So how does it pass that China needs Indian medicine??

Facts, Krishna Dada - Facts!

If you post stuff with some basis, it has more value.

Chinese medical sector is exposed by China itself. Chinese vaccine was exposed by Chinese themselves. I do not need to do anything. If you find Chinese medicines and medical treatment reliable, take it from China. Who stops you. Pakistan had also banned Indian medicines, but ban couldn't last longer than a week. You can also try that.

Those figures in USD doesn't tell the true picture. The medicine which is sold in US at 70000 USD is sold in India at less than 200 USD. Liver medicine which is sold in Australia at 100000 USD is sold in India at less than 1000 USD. Our government provided corona vaccine totally free to everybody. We have a huge parallel medicine system. more and more people are preferring Ayurvedic treatment over allopathic treatment now a days. In India, generic medicines are cheaper than a toffee. In India, heart operations are performed at a cost less than a dinner or lunch cost. Eye operations are done free of cost at hundreds of places. Medicine is not an pure earning business for India and Indian. Even India had provided BD with 1.2 million dosages of Vaccine free of cost at the time of corona. Chinese wanted Indian medicines.

See here US media compares US cancer medicine and Indian Cancer medicine.
