According to Russian data, only the Tu-22M3 long-range bomber can officially use the FAB-3000, but this aircraft cannot use bombs with UMPC. One of the main carriers of ammunition with this module is the Su-34 front-line bomber, but it, in turn, is not officially a carrier of the FAB-3000.
The Universal Flight Planning and Correction Module (UMPC) is an attachable module that converts conventional unguided bombs (in particular, FAB-250 and FAB-500 M-62) into glider bombs – precision-guided munitions with an increased range.
