South AsiaAny IT related restrictions on India is suicidal. It will be counter productive to the interest of US.
So far as regime change is concerned, curbing out a Christian nation is not my imagination. It is shaikh Hasina who said that a Hora (She did not give the name) came to her and asked for a place called saint martin Island fro BD. He said that Hasina should hand it over to US and enjoy remaining in power or get ready to be toppled. She denied so her ouster was engineered. All subsequent events confirms what she said. Recently US NSA visited BD. US supported new BD regime. All who had serious terrorism charges were released from jail. You just wait and watch for some time to confirm what I say.

Have you ever been to the US? Just curious.
There are two types of Indians in the US.
One type are citizens who became highly educated in the US (usually masters level) and lead major companies. They come from upper middle class families and have a largely open-minded outlook. These are the people the US wants to keep.
The second type are cringe-worthy semi-educated people from India who are unfit for settling in any foreign country other than India. They defy civilized behavior, defy rules of decency and hygiene. They want to make the US and Canada just like the ghettos they came from in India. These are the people the US wants to restrict.
By the way - here is the back lash on twitter by MAGA people on Sriram Krishnan - that new AI guy chosen by Trump.
They are calling him all sorts of names.

Can you let the US decide on what is suicidal for them or not?
And not quote that thief and serial liar Hasina? She laundered and exfiltrated Billions of dollars out of Bangladesh which is a poor nation. What legitimacy does she have to even open her mouth? Just because she was giving Modi part of her stolen proceeds?
Indians are just providing a value-added service to the US, Backoffice is not rocket science, which (though difficult to change) can easily be transferred to other nations. The talent that Indians provide are not unique.
To think that the US is dependent on India is just BJP propaganda, I'm afraid. Most people in the US (even those Indian IT leaders in the US) will be mildly amused at this suggestion.
