Construction work continues on Mohmand Dam Project, which is scheduled for completion in 2026.

The Dam will store 1.2 MAF water to irrigate 18,237 acres new land and supplement 160,000 acres existing land.

It will generate 800 MW low-cost hydel electricity.

The Project will also control floods and provide 300 million gallon per day drinking water to Peshawar.
