That makes no sense at all, what are the commonalities besides monotheism? Zoronastrianism is not even purely monotheistic especially these days. The Prophets of Islam were of Jewish decent not Iranian. It seems like some zoro nat is coping hard, the symbol of zoronastrianism itself was created recently by an Indian man. Also for tribalist arabs to copy zoronastrianism they must have the texts and have read it in translation.. There is no evidence of that happening. History doesnt support this, the bible and the Quran are also not similar and explain historical events differently so you cannot say like others have said here, "its a copy of some biblical text."

I'm neither Hindu nor a Hindutvawadi (one who believes in and professes Hindutva).

If you start from a defensive mindset, it is unlikely you will learn anything beyond the dogma you have been born into.

Oh bhai, like I said the US had put Iran on a pedestal and the Shah had tremendous power.

He had as much power as all of NATO combined back then.

However the Iranians threw him out because they didn’t trust him.

I never personally called you a believer of Hindutva or a Hindu. I was talking about this narrative of Islam being a copy of Zoroastrianism or being influenced by it. The sources of this I find online are by nationalists who again are biased. By saying a certain country created a religion requires more compelling evidence. In this case strong influence they had on the Quran which is it's only scripture. In Islam, Iranians may have added and given it the Hadiths which it has, but it still cannot be said they created it.

This is similar to how some Bhuddists say Hinduism is a religion which is a copy of it and did not exist before the British Empire until they (colonials) compiled it.

I am normally very selective in the person who I get into religious discussions with. In all of the OG forum, there was just one guy.

You need to read more. Search wider. Deeper. Without the blinkers of dogma of birth. Or don't.
