I've had very superficial contact with proper Iranians, but those guys were outliers I'm pretty sure. Never got to ask them their mazhabi thing, rude behavior, right ? I just sorta presumed they were whatever Iran Shias (never crossed my mind at the time)..

I had known that there is at least a segment of their youth, rich urban Tehranis (baap ka paisa types) who are quite hedonistic, they coulda been jews too, no idea.

No one should be whining or complaining.

If the native whites did not want desis there, then the desis could either have stayed home or gone somewhere else.

Similarly for the whites, if they wanted the desis there to prop up their flagging blood and sweat pool, dont complain if the desis are then ... well ... desi.
