What’s up with you folks and Iran? I get it’s a nice natural place, - a lot of Iranian steep DNA in many Subcontinental folks. But what’s the fuss?

No I've never gone.

I travel to the US a lot. So I do not see myself going for the foreseeable future either.

Frankly, there is no pull for me from a Muslim Iran.

At best, its a part of my ancestry.

All but one of our Atash Behram fires are here.

As is the main Atash Padshah.

Bhai ab toh Indians ko Iran jaanay ka visa bhi nahi lagta. All patriotic Indians should visit Iran. From there they can cross the border into Turkey and secretly holiday and come back to avoid the ignominy back home of having holidayed in enemy country

Pak are just closer culturally for a dilli ka launda like me than bongs or tams or goans etc, at least the Punjabi ones.. Pashto, Baloch etc I dunno.

Turkey, Gulf/Emirates type bhot jaate hain for ghoomand firand yaha ke well heeled ones.

Turkey is very unlike other musalman countries, Ruskies and other slavs bhi bhot jaate hain. Pakistanis have a bad rep there for ogling at women sunbathing etc
