Why this demotion to JCO level?

I am in the fighting forces currently a Major or a Lieutenant General. My batchmates are Brigadier Generals, some on the cusp of receiving their next pips.

I just read a post by Oscar at the other place, woh bhi same cheez bol ra, k bhai, mai legal banda, stood in line, waited, paperwork in order, kaam kar ra hu yahan, tax de ra hu.. and yeh bkl just sneak across the border and sab kuch free.. housing, dole money, bacchon ka school, doctor visits.. sab free !

Those things are meant for legal US citizens who may be down on their luck or struggling.. vato sochte hain sab ke liye sab kuch muft.. ekdum jahil bhikari dalit mindset.
