This is unbelievable:

tbf, crashing weddings for food is not a desi thing exclusively.

I've probably crashed a couple waay back in the day too

but not dalit style crash with 17 other chamaars.. nightclubbing ke baad there this fancy type wedding in swanky hotal.. ghus gaye hum bhi, charming waali smile maari ek do ko, and there were women with us too (also famished) .. ghus gaye, 3 4 AM type .. Hindu weddings are an all night affair many times, feras have really odd timings, after full consultation with priest etc.

I literally just dropped my mum to the airport, meri flight kal ki hai and had to make texi arrangements.. 20 km type, 1500 rupalees.

Dilli mein similar scene, I pay 400 - 600.. and idhar there basically zero traffic for 95% of the way.. Dilli is chakka jaam central.

Taxi mafia hai yahan, very harami lot, sab pareshaan hai.. politicians have tried a couple times, backfired.. strikes, hartals, protests.. non complying cabbies beaten up by the mafia thugs, public transport is lund barabar. Couple years ago I paid 7500 rupees, bhan da posra.. from Arambol to back south, but it was peak X-mas time too.

Oh well.
