welll whats wrong if in a 80%+ Hindu majority or say 65% mjority vegitarian nation a capitalist tries to promote some extra perks for those who dont want halall certified food as there are many in Canada, USA , UK , Europe & South east Asia tht insist on bieng served NON KOSHER food or to be served only Halall certfied food ???

The Iranians are as much as an 'Empire Building State' as every other nation state on the globe. Every nation state has empire ambitions. There is currently no true Muslim or even Christian state. Armenia and the Taliban in Afghanistan try to come close but even they are not 100% there.

And its not as if the Muslims are being deprived of halal food either.

The nonsense of forcing it down every gullet needs to and will stop.

Remember, every industry is for profit

Only the Muslim states are stuck on halal certification.

Non Muslim states do not push back and insist of a diametric opposite form of animal butchering (Jhatka or stunning or something else humane for example).

In the absence of that, the industries make the easy choice and opt for Halal. Very very few have the size and heft to have processes that cater to different demographics in terms of logistics and infrastructure in terms of meat butchering and processing.

That is the pressure that needs to and will be pushed back against now.

And finally, simple market economics will talk.

If there are enough Muslims and they can pay enough, Halal will be provided and catered for.

If not, they are free to procure their meat from their own sources.
