I could have understood it being a people or race ir ethnicity thing if it was just Pakistan.

And Bangladesh had bucked the trend.

But most of us are now revising that calculus hastily.

Its got nothing to do with the people, or even those in charge.

If we don't get hypersonic missiles, that means our nuke arsenal is blunted with the proliferation of ABM defenses. And it is rather preposterous of the US to assume that Pakistan acquiring ICBMs means it plans on targeting the US.
