Basics remain the same for all matters as far as we are concerned.
Same god, same book, same teachings.
Think of Shia and Sunni as their internal political succession differences.
It has nothing to do with us. Nor impacts us in any way.
The chapters are verses (suras?) regarding us are all alike. The same.
This was explained to me once by a Sunni friend. When he was bemused at my romanticized world view towards Shias.
All my good friends are Shias or Shia mixes. Indian and Iranian.
