UhhhThank you for asking advice which is rare these days from young generation. Please tell us something about your area of study.
Try to get a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or mathematics first. From there, you can move anything you want into IT/Data Science/ Computer Science, but you will have a solid STEM base. Electrical Engineering will get you all the necessary ingredients. Software is highly competitive unless you are a real expert. Make sure you are comfortable with Calculus, which you will need at a later stage, even in Game Development!Uhhh
I'm a college student going in Uni this year Inshallah but I don't know which department should I join . I'm trying to go into NED so I would prefer advice on the courses such as
Mechanical
Software
IT
And Game development / Animation
I would like to ask about the above mentioned fields and their scopes around the globe
What we have done was the common norm in our generation. The coolest thing we did in our teenage life was pay our own bills and not go on adventures at our parents' expense. The new generation is a different breed, and all want fast-track careers without getting enough experience and knowledge. Still, many new generations can not beat us regarding money, knowledge, and physical fitness. They only compare themselves with their own parents, who were never our types except for their age. So, the best advice for a newbie is to finish at least a bachelor's in the STEM field so that the newbie can pay bills and take some of the burden off the parents.I graduated as a Mechanical engineer back in 96 in the US. Worked in the US for a decade in various industries. Then moved down to Australia and got into oil n gas/ mineral processing/ resource sector. Worked in Australia for a good decade on many resource sector projects, then got a one year stint in Armenia on a project and another year in the North Sea. Then another few years in the UAE and Iraq on various oil n gas projects. I retired at 50 years age. Now I day trade as a hobby and do a bit of consulting part time.
STEM is key!.......Yaar look at Irani turani......they are our neighbors no?.......its not like they in da EU.......but they far more capable in STEM than most (99%) EU nations. We need advisory help in our country/ society......our stupid jharrnail don't know where we headed. We should ask for help from our western neighbors. Its really important. A culture of science and technology is what's needed. If Iran and Turkey can do it, then so can we. Our people are very bright, but we just don't got proper leadership. These irani turani goin send a man into space soon, quickly followed up by their small space station, aur baqi saaray muslim mumalik goin watch with their gobs wide open. Irani's will most definitely do it within a few years aur hum nay kuchh nahi karna except praise Indian achievements on youtube. Laanti baghertay jharrnail have ruined us.What we have done was the common norm in our generation. Well, genetically and culturally a lot our people are "Perso-Aryans" and NOT Mongol or Gangetic Desi. We are doing fine and nothing we can do if our country is run by Gangetic Desi's. Look at Imran Khan and what the desis did to this bright Perso-Aryan guy ! Gangetic desis have put him a cage so that he can not roar.STEM is key!.......Yaar look at Irani turani......they are our neighbors no?.......its not like they in da EU.......but they far more capable in STEM than most (99%) EU nations. So we get drafted toward da stock markets everywhere......Whether its the S&P or da NADAQ or da Footsie or da DAX or da ASX or the Nikkei.......its all da same......tussi yahudian da khel khelo unless yous brave enough to go toward the Tehran TSX or Chinese or Russian stock markets......PSX stay away from bhai......I know lotsa people who lost everything on a speculative on da whim market.One of these days I will get some day trading advice from you.
Ishq and Muhabbat skills do not pay the bills.
Bhai they are far ahead of us pendu.......they're goin send man/ woman into space and they will become top dog muslim soon, aur hum ghareebon nay dekhtay reh jaana hae it will be a sad day for us k parrosi musalmaan done it and we sucking up to CIA bhatta jharrnail on arabic calligraphy dress wearing jhuggi woman in bazaar being harassed in a staged confrontation. Laanti Jharrnail ullu de putthay are being made to look stupid by the CIA......our people are not this foolish, but this drama being stage managed by the agency in collusion wid our lower caste jharrnail. Come on yaar......Yeah, during my experience with Iranians in the Anglosphere I've noticed that they tend to think more. They take a moment to rationalize in their own way and then input, you can see it processing in their faces if that makes any sense, so this is why there are doing well in certain fields as compared to their neighbors.
@Aryobarzan @Nevsky @Ario @wudangmaster @jauk Might add some input.
He wants to get you a job of Tim Cook.Try to get a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or mathematics first. That is the minimum of what people are doing here as kids in my family did. Most people do more. Pakistani degrees without engineering backgrounds will have difficulties here in the USA in the tech field as many of those so-called IT degrees have a lot of missing prerequisites. They still have to do their masters here and then they will have to get the GRE too.He wants to get you a job of Tim Cook.
Sir there is no end to skills so he can indeed obtain the engineering degree and get a better job.That is the minimum of what people are doing here as kids in my family did. Most people do more.
