Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Tuesday said India desires "positive, constructive and forward-looking" relations with Bangladesh based on mutuality of interests and reciprocity.
Responding to a number of questions at a biweekly briefing in New Delhi, MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said their position on the press conference by former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in Delhi needs no repetition.
On the issue of extraditions, he said their consistent position has been that these requests are being examined as part of their established processes.
