This is exactly what Israel wants, so that they can carry out extensive strikes in mainland Iran and get the USA involved. All Israeli airstrike on Iranian officials is designed provocation for a wider war. However, Iran has been getting too many hits while playing strategic restrains. There has to be some kind of response which will act as a deterrent to future Israeli attacks.

Strategic response could be the activation of the Golan front soon. Put a 100k Iraqi PMU's to work and push them into the Golan. Turn it into a three front war. Israel is now under Irani siege.
