Around 2017. I was chatting with a Bangladeshi friend. I would recommend Bangladesh to consider investing in SAC. Because SAC was in dire need of financial support at that time. It lost to CAC in the PLAAF bid. Almost all the money of the Air Force was invested in the CAC. At the time, SAC even sold some factories to save FC31. If Bangladesh can invest in SAC. In the future, it is possible to get the FC-31 at cost price.

But there is no "if". It's a pity

Govt. stupidity in Bangladesh is too common. They don't know how to seize a good opportunity.

Not just FC-31, but I believe F-7BGI production line (now producing the FTC-2000, or the JL-9 supersonic trainer) was offered to Bangladesh at one point from Chengdu. That could have been a nice starting point for our first fighter. But even with glass cockpit, may have been a little dated aerodynamically. But one has to start somewhere.

What a big deal if that is done with refueling? We never thum our chest on Rafal flying non stop from France to India with refueling.

Not only in Himalayas, flying J10 is dangerous anywhere because so many of them has fallen down till date.
There was an another excercise as well where Gripen scored 34 to 0 against Chinese plane in BVR combat. These are outdated Gripen C/D. Imagine what will happen to your planes when it will face Rafale or Tejas? Your technologically inferior planes are only good for chest thumping but not good enough for fight any modern warfare.

Tejas is designed and developed by India unlike your J10 which is substandard rejected lavi design. JF 17 is rejected Russian design. Rest are Su series aircraft copies. You don't have a single design of your own. Your WS series engines are copy of Russian AL series. Even Pakistan rejected your made in China WS series in place of Russian engine in JF17. JF 17 is such a great aircraft that China itself still uses Mig 21 but keeps itself away from JF17. China is such a great nation which makes so called fifth generation plane but imports 4th generation Su35 and Su30 from Russia.

Your response is full of logical contradictions. Please consider carefully before replying.

India Airforce has full freedom to accept or reject anything. Many countries has considered buying it including US, Brazil, Malaysia, Argentina, Egypt etc. It seems that only your unsubstantiated bluff is logical and rest isn't.
