The harvest of Punjab govt’s successful shrimp farming pilot,100 tons on 100 acres. The quality of shrimp meets international standards & specifications. Expanding it to 50000 acres. Pakistan is ready to Export the produced Shrimp.

I am sure Bangladesh can cooperate with Pakistan in shrimp farming as we have very large shrimp farming sector. Local variety of Black Tiger shrimp and Large lobster type prawns (shown below) are very famous and sought in gourmet palates globally for their unique flavor.

Bangladesh has over 55,000 marine shrimp farms that average about 3 ha in size, although single ponds as large as 40 ha also exist. Currently, marine shrimp farms cover about 170,000 ha in the coastal districts of Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Cox’s Bazaar, Chittagong, Barguna, and Bhola.

Bangladesh exported 262,937 metric tons of shrimp in 2022 (about half a billion dollars) - even after Hasina's non-support of fishery export policy, as her Indian masters had prescribed her, to save the Indian shrimp export sector.
