Police have arrested 22 members of the banned Chhatra League, Awami League, and its affiliates over a secret meeting held at a convention centre near Dhakaโs Bashundhara Residential Area.
The event, reportedly attended by 300โ400 people, included anti-government slogans and alleged plans to mobilise nationwide protests under the direction of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, as per local agency reports.
