Thanks for the pictures brother!

I hope to take the Beijing to Lhasa Z21/Z22 express (boarding in Xining onward to Lhasa to reduce fatigue) which a lot of Bangladesh travelers do, by flying into Xining.

Flying back from Xining to Los Angeles via either Beijing or Shanghai will be the other highlight of the trip, by helping the women for shopping needs.

This promises to be the journey of a lifetime for our group, I guess we may have to stop for a day (or two) in Xining to acclimatize for the high altitude (2200m). Maybe Chinese travelers do the same?

On a related note - Bangladesh in the medieval Buddhist times was a collection of strong Buddhist kingdoms and one Bengali Buddhist luminary who taught Buddhism in Tibet as one of the senior Buddhist scholars was Atisha Dipankara. His Buddhist temple was recently unearthed in Bangladesh thanks to Chinese support by the Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology of Hunan province and archaeological digs are still in progress at this time.
