That sandwich is delicious. You gotta be used to the dynamite green chutney though. G****d phat jayegi nahi toh
First time I'm seeing something like this.

Kuchhi vegetables in the middle with butter? And then outside toasted?

Bhai inside will be all soggy no? Aur green mirchon key chuttni? on butter?

Meray samajh main nahi aa raha bhai.

PM may go or don't go but Shankaracharya will not go.
He was doing politics.

And this was not any temple. This was Ram Mandir.

And Modi had to politicize it for the people of the land.

A PM who is 24x7 on the campaign trail.

The rare times he is on home soil.

These are ubiquitous around India. In fact we make a version at home too. Called a toastie. A boiled potato and vegetable stew with lots of cheese stuffed between two slices. Then pop it into the sandwich griller or the traditional tasty toastie (the square shaped tongs). Non veg guys get chopped boiled eggs and chicken or salami. Its a delicious quick snack. I prefer hot and sweet Kissan over the green chutney though.

Ek baar bana ke dekho. Get over the mental block that sandwich needs to have meat. You will get all ingredients wherever you live - cucumber, onion, tomato, beetroot, boiled potato, butter. To make chutney, blend lots of green chillies with coriander. Add some salt. And nimboo if you want (I skip it, but some vendors add it). It is not soggy at all. There is some masala also that they sprinkle. Half the fun is in watching it get made. The expert vendors are really artists at work. Got to see them outside railway stations. They move with machine like precision.
