India has reaffirmed the strength and depth of its relationship with Bangladesh, characterising the bilateral ties as robust and multifaceted. This statement was made by Randhir Jaiswal, Spokesperson at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, in response to inquiries about the "India out campaign."
Jaiswal highlighted the comprehensive nature of the India-Bangladesh partnership, noting its extensive coverage across various sectors, including the economy, investment, development, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.
"You name any human endeavour; it is part and parcel of India-Bangladesh relations," he stated.
Further emphasising the dynamism of the partnership, the spokesperson remarked, "It shows how vibrant the partnership is, and it will continue to be so."

This anti-India campaign is helping the BJP to get votes in this election to scare Indians of anti-India Muslim neighbors.India is trying very hard to sweep this under the rug and make it into a non-issue.
But a large section of people in Bangladesh will not forget.
Why don't the Indian current govt. enhance this "vibrant partnership" and abolish non-tariff barriers from Bangladeshi exports to India?
This reminds me of the old saw, "Baat me nahi - kaam pe dekhao".
This anti-India campaign is helping the BJP to get votes in this election to scare Indians of anti-India Muslim neighbors.

I not only knew the timing of this "Boycott India" campaign but also knew too much about its organizers. Unfortunately, while most of the general public does not care about this campaign, the organizers magnified it much more than the reality. It was a gift given to the BJP by the organizers, hoping for much-needed support that may never become fruit. Public denial of this fact will not change the reality.Anything the BJP can conjure up as the "boogeyman" gets huge votes in India for BJP.
I don't get why a section of the Indian populace are so afraid of Muslim neighbors.

The Indian govt. does not want Bangladesh to make money from Indian market. On the other hand they are making $15 billion a year from Bangladeshi market. This is call economic exploitation. We should impose some non-tariff barriers to Indian exports to Bangladesh.India is trying very hard to sweep this under the rug and make it into a non-issue.
