That is correct, but I don't believe it has stealth. Don't know if you have to have stealth qualifications for a 5th generation platform.

5th generation is all about stealth. Without it you cannot have a 5th generation aircraft.

As Hürjet is a mere trainer, it doesn't fall into any of the fighter generations.

Egypt doesn't have a trainer of this quality so a purchase would make sense.

It is also an open secret that a combat version of Hürjet, is also under development, when that comes out, we'll be able to talk more freely about which generation it belongs to. Right now I expect something akin to the Korean KF-50
