well Nader shah came to India when Bajirao peshwa was leading Marathas and peshwa never lost any of his 42 battels and weakenned the delhi mughals after sacking Bundelkhand , malwa and awadh and almsot all parts of central and western india so much mughals had absoleutly no athourity there
