Cant say for certain but I doubt the J 20 will be made available even to friendly nations by China.

Capabilities aside, its a prestige project, the queen of the stable (and maybe a hangar queen too, no idea lol)

They want to project it's mystique, the pinnacle of Chinese military fighter aviation. Packed with bleeding edge electronics and weaponry too sensitive to be trusted with anyone else.

As usual, and is is the case with almost anything that comes out of China, all this drama about J 20 is also a cheap COPY of the F 22.

One can diss a product saying its a copy, but at least they made an attempt. Very few countries can claim creation of a fifth generation fighter. China has at least two on tap.

Not whitewashing their moral standing, but to Chinese (and even Japanese) folks, copying something is not morally wrong. It is flattery. Japanese did copy stuff forty or fifty years ago, ditto with Koreans and of course Taiwanese. Gen Z people do not know this.

If the Chinese J-20 has a canard and is unique - then is it a copy?

Chinese will have their own jet engines to power these soon (WS-15 and WS-20), what other non-western country except Japan can claim that honor?

Bad mouthing Chinese achievements has become a disease nowadays. I think there are lessons we can learn from them instead of offering them pointless jealousy.

I think you are a poor reader. Read it again. Su 30 Detected it over the sky of Tibet. i.e far away from Indian border. Afterall, J 20 is Chinese fifth generation plane and Chinese quality is invariably attached to that. It is like China copied BMW but it scored in crash rating. Chinese quality is synonym to flimsy stuff.
