I tell you guys what - being that I have lived in this country (US) most of my life, am the farthest in mentality from most newcomer Indians to the US, my take is that most Indians will be wrong to hide their head in the sand like ostriches, or scoff at it like Bagheera did here. It's not just MAGA people - the entire Gora lot attitude has changed, and MAGA hate can be thousands of times worse and unprecedented than any other hate.

Things have changed for the worse for Indians working in the US, the honeymoon is over. Goras look at Indians like they're stealing Goras' white collar bread.

Indians (in fact all of us desis) did it to ourselves. Too much braggadocio attitudes, like we own this country (US), we can kickout goras at any whim from the workplace etc. etc. Boasting about Indian CEOs and CFOs and how great Indian culture is - shoving/forcing our culture down gora throats. That Goras should be so thankful that we gave them Yoga, Indian food/spices and ayurveda.

Just terminally stupid attitudes.

And blaming people with sane attitudes like me as "self-hater" desi.

This is their country guys, Indians/desis have jack squat as pull in financial or political circles numerically. Bootlickers like Kumaraswami don't matter. Just because we can send our upper middle class to the US doesn't mean we start to own this country.

Goras can sink India just as they have started to do now - by going after Adani and Modi.

Come-uppance has arrived - now we have to deal with it. All this boasting about the highest group with highest annual family income in the US has come back to bite us. Too much self-glorification means we have to eat humble pie now. The tides have turned.

I say 'we' - because when goras see me at work, they will treat me just like an Indian. To say anything else will be hypocritical.
