India is the next superpower. If it doesn't gain UNSC membership, the UN will be weakened... This world president issued a major warning
UNSC Reforms India News: The President of Finland has openly supported India's permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council. The President stated that without India, the organization would continue to weaken.

Helsinki: India's bid for a seat on the United Nations Security Council has once again received significant support. Finnish President Alexander Stubb has stated that India will be the next superpower, alongside the United States and China. Stubb stated that India must be granted permanent membership in the UN Security Council. He stated that if India does not receive membership, the UN will continue to weaken. Countries from Russia to Britain are openly supporting India's bid for permanent membership in the UN Security Council, but India's bid is being stalled by just one country: China. China and Pakistan are jointly campaigning against India.

In an interview with Firstpost, Stubb said, "I have been a big fan of India and I believe that India will become the next superpower, alongside the United States and China." The Finnish President said that India is currently developing good relations with all major countries, rather than focusing on a single global power. This is completely understandable. Acknowledging India's size, relationships with countries, and potential, Stubb said that what India does matters greatly to the world.

China is an obstacle in India's path in the UNSC

The Finnish President said that, from Finland's perspective, when it comes to the world order, he believes that multilateralism and India's increased role in the United Nations are essential. He said that if India is not made a permanent member of the Security Council, the United Nations will continue to weaken. He said, "I have said this twice in the General Assembly. I want the United Nations Security Council to be expanded. The number of its members should be at least doubled. It is wrong that countries like India are not permanent members of the Security Council."

Stubb said, "I have suggested that we should have one member from Latin America, two from Africa, and two from Asia. Why? It's because I believe in multilateralism. If India is not included in the UN Security Council, this global institution will continue to weaken." The G-4 countries, including India, are continuously demanding reforms in the UN Security Council, but China is opposing it. China does not want its dominance in Asia to be affected, hence it is becoming an obstacle in India's path. At China's behest, Pakistan is also running a campaign in the world, which has received the support of Italy.

Why is India so eager for UNSC status?

This is India has been advocating for a quite long time. As a result, many new multilateral forums are coming up. QUAD, BRICS, G20, Informal G20 etc. Rise of India is indigestible for many countries, US in particular with some other European nations and China. India is rising irrespective of whether any nation likes it or not. They did not want India to rise in Space but India rose. Same with the case with Supercomputer and defense. Had India got some visionary leadership, our economy would have been atleast double than what we are today. We followed flopped Russian model for years till Narasimha Rao ji changed it. Today, because of strong leadership, India cannot be arm twisted. We need atleast one decade of strong leadership so that we can reach 12 bn USD by next decade. By that time, people across will start accepting India as a respectable power and avoid messing with India unnecessarily.

Don't worry. India is now protected by China. Just like in 1942

@Krishna with Flute You have Jian blocked, unblock him.

I have not blocked any one. I do not know how to block. By mistake, if it is done, tell me how to unblock. Yes, I have learned to ignore him on Sharma's advice.
